The first 10 chapters of this book is about Andrew running away from his home and Craig Corso's childhood. Since Craig was a child, he was usually get picked on because the bullies knew he won't fight back. Andrew's story is quite different. He and his mom got into a serious argument and lead him to ran away from home. Even though their story is quite different, both are still interesting. Andrew is a very intelligent kid. Too smart for a twelve year old to be exact. Well, I'm not talking about his academic skills, but his way of acting. He is testing his mom's love by running away from home and making his mom worry for him. That action is both mature and childish for me. Although he's too smart for his age, he doesn't use it in a proper way.
My thoughts about this book is that it's quite breathtaking. It really caught my attention at the first part of the book. I liked how the author described the scene when Craig is being bullied, the part when his shoes were urinated by the bullies. I also liked the part when the incident of the 2 policemen was described by the author. I am quite sure that the end of this book will be intense, since the first part is action packed.
